#microfiction

Each photo in the microfiction series depicts a real place I've visited, accompanied by a fictional sketch. The image and the story are meant to be read together, creating context and a sense of place for slice-of-life stories from around the world.

As storytelling evolves with technology and transmedia narratives, I've found these posts to be an illuminating experiment in writing and character building – as well as a distinctive way to share glimpses of the fascinating places I've visited, both real and imagined.
